Anisha is an Indigenous youth activist from Nepal, belonging to the Kaike Magar Community of Nepal. She engages in causes concerning social, cultural and environmental rights of women and girls from Indigenous and marginalized communities of Nepal. Her work spans climate change, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, capacity building, and Economic Upliftment of women and girls. She has worked on projects advocating for the effective implementation of CEDAW GR No. 39. She is serving as an interim committee member for the International Indigenous Led Fire Adaptation Network (IIFAN) with FAO as the secretariat.
