Bimala Gurung is a graduate in environmental science and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sociology at Trichandra Multiple Campus. She belongs to the Gurung Indigenous community of Dolpa and is passionate about biodiversity conservation and the preservation of Indigenous knowledge, traditional skills, and cultural heritage. Bimala has actively advocated for environmental protection and community empowerment through social awareness and clean-up campaigns. She has also contributed to various social initiatives as an associate member of the Leo Club of Kathmandu Global Eye, demonstrating her commitment to sustainable development and community service.
