Ms. Deshar is a Social Work graduate and program coordinator at My Emotions Matter. She comes from the Newar Indigenous community of Lalitpur. She is actively involved in research and enjoys exploring Indigenous communities, cultural traditions, and the ways knowledge and practices are carried forward across generations. She believes that conversation and Indigenous knowledge should go hand in hand, creating spaces where traditional wisdom and contemporary dialogue can inform, enrich, and strengthen one another. Her interests lie in culture, identity, community engagement, and social well- being and transformation.
