Kritika Deshar is an Environmental Science graduate from Chapagaun, Lalitpur, and a young woman from the indigenous Newar community. She has always felt naturally drawn to nature and believes that the wisdom of indigenous communities plays an important role in protecting it. This connection has encouraged her to take part in simple, hands-on environmental work like groundwater and rainwater monitoring. She enjoys being outdoors and often finds peace in trekking and exploring natural places. These moments help her feel grounded and remind her why caring for the environment matters so much.
