The Youth Conference on Bio-Culture Conservation in Nepal was successfully held from 6 to 8 February 2026 at SAP-Falcha in Babarmahal, Kathmandu. Organized by ICCA Network Nepal in collaboration with conservation organizations and local government, the conference brought together experienced conservation leaders, conservation experts, passionate youth researchers, indigenous leaders, community members, and conservation practitioners from across the country.
The three-day event created a vibrant platform for young people to share research knowledge, enhance conservation knowledge, and strengthen leadership on bio-cultural conservation. The conference featured an inaugural panel discussion, technical paper presentations, youth panel discussions, keynote presentations, and community sharing. The conference participants expressed a collective commitment to creating collaborative platforms that enable sharing across generations as essential for sustainable conservation practices.
