The ICCA Network Nepal is an association of the communities, individuals and organizations working and/or committed for the conservation and management of the territories and areas with cultural and/or ecological values. This network grew out of a more than 15 years of networking and policy advocacies for the appropriate recognition of the territories and areas conserved by indigenous peoples and local communities (ICCA—territories of life). This association, drawing experiences from local to national and international policies and practices, aims in promoting equity in bio-culture conservation related activities in Nepal. It was officially registered in 2025 as a national association under Nepal Governments’ Company Act 2006.
